Introduction.
Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant offers the full array of precious metals production and refining services to our customers.
On the 21st of October 2002 the site was celebrating its 86th anniversary. It had been the first site in Russia to start refining of slime platinum in 1916. Metal processing, production of industrial and jewelry items of precious metals and alloys thereof has become a prevailing trend in site's activities.
In conjunction with highly technological equipment, modern analytic and research instruments aimed at quality control, unique technological processes of treating scrap it is allowed to produce competitive goods of high quality.
Currently the site produces refined precious metals in the form of golden, silver, platinum group metals bars, and also in the form of PGM powder.
The production items list of ENFPP consists of more than 300000 products of precious metals and alloys thereof for industrial usage. Among them are strips, wire, foil, pipes, electric contacts, catalyst and catching gauzes, glass melting apparatus for glass and basaltic fiber, bowls and crucibles for melting of special glass and growing of oxide monocrystals, sample and working platinum and platinum-rhodium thermocouples, laboratory ware for chemistry composition analysis, PGM compounds for auto and chemical industries, etc.
In 80-90-ies of XX century the site had mastered an issue of new consumer goods, namely: more than 1000 models of jewelry articles of golden, silver and palladium alloys, including about 300 platinum decorations.
The site issues table ware of silver, dentistry alloys, memorial and souvenir medals and badges. ENFPP also has a cutting stone equipment for production of precious and semi-precious stones articles.
For 86 years period of its activity the site has accumulated not only reach technological experience but has created scientific-research basement. The site regularly receives patents for technological decisions, industrial standard and engineering developments.
Our specialists report on domestic and international meetings, conferences. Their papers are published in prestigious Russian and foreign journals.
Due to high technological potential of ENFPP the site was given authorities of Technical Committee for standardization of precious metals, industrial and jewelry articles thereof.
We have unique technologies and equipment for processing of precious metals scrap. In particular, electrochemical refinery of scrap and waste in melted salts provides high recovery indices with low level of loss. The site is a certified manufacturer of catalyst gauzes and catchers of platinum alloys. The quality system complies with ISO 9002 standard and is certified by TUV Rheinland/Berlin-Brandenburg.
The site was awarded "Birmingem's Torch", "Global Quality Management" Award (1995ã.), "Good Delivery" status for bars of gold, silver, platinum, palladium.
